Mexican Independence Day celebrated Sept. 17-18

The Mexican Cultural Center DuPage is excited to be bringing back the Viva Mexico Independence Day Celebration and Parade. This unique downtown festival celebrates West Chicago's diversity and highlights Mexican culture. This year's two-day event will occur on Saturday, September 17th and Sunday, September 18th.

A 3v3 street soccer tournament will once again be part of the event. Girls and boys U12 and U14 teams will take to Main Street in West Chicago for some competitive fun during both days of the Mexican Independence Day event. Teams must register by Thursday, September 1st in order to receive participant t-shirts and water bottles. Four games are guaranteed over the two days for a $100 registration fee per team. Space is limited; register today at MCCDuPage.org. Contact the Mexican Cultural Center with any questions at MCCDuPage@gmail.com or (630)788-1503.
