St. Paul's-A-Palooza and Pig Roast returns Aug. 6

The Men's Christian Fellowship Group will host its fourth annual St. Paul's-A-Palooza and Pig Roast from 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 485 Woodstock St. in Crystal Lake. The free event will include music by five area bands, a bounce house, face painting, a classic car show, and carnival games.

Tickets for the pig roast are $10, or $5 for children, age 12 and younger. The meal includes a pulled pork BBQ sandwich, slaw, baked beans, dessert, and beverage. A la carte items include pulled pork nachos and hot dogs.

There also will be the chance to participate in raffles throughout the afternoon.

Proceeds for the event benefit the Pioneer Center, Home of the Sparrow, Crystal Lake Food Pantry, and the Salvation Army.
