Wilcox helps Harper past Olivet Nazarene

The Harper College men’s basketball team ran its record to 11-2 Tuesday night with 73-57 win over Olivet Nazarene’s JV squad.

Wes Wilcox (Lake Park) led the Hawks in scoring with 25 points, including the final 6 points of the first half. That allowed the Hawks to take a 27-23 lead into intermission.

Olivet Nazarene could get no closer than 8 points the rest of the way.

Chris Hicks (Elk Grove) scored 13 points while guard Tommy Childs (South Elgin) added 11 points for Harper.
