Huebner sparks Wheaton Academy

Wheaton Academy 10, Hampshire 0: Bekah Huebner went 4-for-4 with a triple and drove in 3 runs, pacing a 13-hit attack for No. 4 seed Wheaton Academy (15-14) at the Class 3A Hampshire regional. Olivia Tilly was 2-for-4 with a double, Kim Olson 2-for-4 with a double and Julia Kolanowski 2-for-4 with a double.

Glenbard East 26, Proviso West 2: Brittany Plimmer went 4-for-5 with 3 RBI, and No. 13 seed Glenbard East (14-20) put up 12 runs in the third inning at the Class 4A Geneva regional. Michele Graham went 3-for-3 with an RBI.

Hinsdale Central 4, East Aurora 0: Jessie Parks twirled a 4-hitter for the No. 14 seed Red Devils (12-21) at the Class 4A East Aurora regional.

York 13, Willowbrook 1: Charlene Osmanski's 2-run homer highlighted a 12-run third for the No. 15 seed Dukes at the Class 4A Willowbrook regional.
