The Kindergartners played games with their dads then ate dessert together. While this event highlight the letter ‘D’ in the children’s curriculum, teacher Amy Salatino said it also aims to welcome more fathers into the school, where mother’s tend to be a more prevalent presence. “We want the dads to know that they are as important, as welcome and as needed as the mother’s are,” she said.
