Idstein finished 4-for-4 with 4 RBI. Grayslake Central also got multihit games from Kristian Meehan (2-for-3), Nick Hosford (3-for-4), Austin Miller (2-for-4), Austin Leggett (3-for-4, 3 RBI) and Jon Gurchak (2-for-3, 3 RBI).
Jake Oslovich earned the win on the mound.

Grant 15, Lake Forest 14: Jake Ring fell a triple shy of the cycle, as the Bulldogs prevailed in a wild North Suburban crossover.Ring homered, doubled and singled, and also drew a walk and drove in a run. Grant also got 3-hit games from Jared Helmich (double, 3 RBI), Brent Spohr (3 RBI) and Nick Fanella (double, 2 RBI). The Bulldogs pounded out 16 hits, in total.Warren 5, Vernon Hills 4: The Blue Devils erased a 4-0 deficit in the bottom of the sixth inning and won the North Suburban crossover with a run in the ninth.
Austin Hagen had 3 hits and an RBI for Vernon Hills. Anthony Mazza added 2 hits and 2 RBI for the Cougars.
