“Our kids played a complete game against a very good team,” said Rams coach Troy Whalen. “We seem to draw Skyline every year and this was the first game that was not close. It was our night and I give a lot of credit to our kids.”
The Rams get a special treat today, as they play a game against Kettering, Ohio on the Atlanta Braves’ minor-league field.
“It will be a special moment for the kids,” Whalen said. “Every year we play down here, we walk past that stadium. For the kids to play on it will be something they remember for the rest of their lives.”
