Glenbard South defeats WW South in opener

Glenbard South 11, WW South 9:

Jane Trzaska went 5-for-5 with a homer and 3 runs batted in as the Raiders won a wild season opener in Wheaton.

After spotting WW South a 4-0 lead, Glenbard South tied it 4-4 with 3 runs in the third, then grabbed the lead for good with a 5-run fourth. Olivia Ramirez had a two-run single to drive in the go-ahead runs and Trzaska added an RBI single.

For WW South Hannah Granger hit a solo homer, tripled and doubled.
