Aronberg Goldgehn opens new Wheaton office, adds Karen R. Mills and Amanda M. Zannoni

Full-service law firm Aronberg Goldgehn announces the opening of a new office in Wheaton, Illinois and the expansion of its estate and tax planning & trust and estate litigation practice with the addition of Karen R. Mills as member and Amanda M. Zannoni as associate.

Mills will continue to focus her practice on probate litigation, estate planning, trust and estate administration, special needs planning, asset protection and guardianships for minors and disabled adults, including contested matters. She is active in the DuPage County Bar Association and currently serves on its board of directors. Prior to her legal career, she spent nearly 20 years in the banking industry advising clients on wealth management, preservation and transfer strategies.

Zannoni represents clients in the area of estate and probate litigation, including estate and trust administration, contests to estate plans, elder abuse claims and misappropriation of assets by fiduciaries such as agents under powers of attorney, trustees and executors. Her practice also encompasses estate planning, wealth preservation, long-term care planning and special needs planning.

Both attorneys will practice in the firm's newly-established Wheaton office, 301 S. County Farm Road. The new office provides a convenient location for the firm's many existing clients in and around DuPage County, as well as new clients that will benefit from the firm's expanded reach.

"We are delighted to welcome Karen and Amanda to the firm and to expand our presence beyond Chicago," stated Jerry Holisky, Aronberg Goldgehn co-managing member. "Estate planning, trust and probate litigation and estate administration have been areas of focus for firm growth. The addition of Karen enhances our capabilities and expands our presence to the suburbs where our client base is growing."

Aronberg Goldgehn's estate planning and litigation practice focuses on the representation of high-net worth individuals, business owners and trustees with respect to income, estate and tax planning, probate and estate administration, probate litigation and charitable gifting techniques.

"Aronberg Goldgehn is well-known for its estate planning practice, and I'm excited to be joining a growing firm with a deep bench not only in that area but offering a full suite of legal services from corporate to IP to litigation and family law," Mills added.

In addition to her legal practice, Mills is a frequent speaker and presenter on estate planning topics. In the community, she serves on the board of directors and executive committee of Northwestern Medicine and co-chairs the Philanthropic Advisory Council for NWM Central DuPage and Delnor Hospitals. She is a graduate of Northern Illinois University College of Law.

Zannoni serves on the boards of both the DuPage County Bar Association and DuPage Association of Women Lawyers. She earned her law degree from Syracuse University College of Law.
