League to host candidate forum Monday

The League of Women Voters of McHenry County invites the community to the upcoming candidate forums.

Candidate meet-and-greets will be offered at the first four forums beginning at 6 p.m.

The second forum will feature candidates from state District 63, and state Senate districts 32 and 26 at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, at McHenry County College, 8900 Route 14 in Crystal Lake.

The forums continue with a focus on candidates for McHenry County Board seats.

Both forums will begin at 7 p.m. at McHenry County College. Candidates for districts 1, 2 and 3 have been invited to attend the Monday, Oct. 3, forum, with districts 4, 5 and 6 on Wednesday, Oct. 5.

On Thursday, Oct. 13, the candidate forum will feature Congressional Districts 6 and 14, and state District 66 at 7 p.m. at Jacobs High School, 2601 Bunker Hill Drive in Algonquin.
