Junior defender Kelsey Foss scored on a free kick from just inside midfield to help Conant remain unbeaten with a 1-0 girls soccer victory over host Schaumburg on Wednesday.
Lindsay Fillingim earned the shutout for Mid-Suburban West-leading Conant (8-0).
Fremd 2, Barrington 1: Kristin Abruscato and Michelle Mottonen scored second-half goals as the visiting Vikings (6-1) picked up an MSL West win.

Palatine 2, Prospect 1: Gabby McArtor scored an unassisted goal 30 seconds into the MSL match and Julie Johlie scored again about nine minutes later as Palatine (3-4-1, 3-2) held on for the victory.
Lizzie Robinson scored Prospect’s only goal in the first half. Megan Ellis and Rachel Rhodes split the victory in goal for Palatine.
