Stateline HRM to offer 'Fast Facts' on unemployment insurance

The Stateline Society for Human Resource Management will host a breakfast program, titled "Business Services: Fast Facts for Employers on Unemployment Insurance and How to Fight Fraud," at 7:45 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, at the McHenry County College Shah Center, 4100 W. Shamrock Lane in McHenry.

It will be presented by Mary Garcia, acting employment service manager for the Northern Region for the Illinois Department of Employment Security, and Theodore Duckett, IDES business service manager for Northern Illinois.

This program is an opportunity for HR professionals and anyone handling unemployment claims for their organization to learn more about the services IDES offers to employers.

This program will provide participants information on protesting unemployment claims, preventing fraud, and information on hiring and employment services many employers do not know are available through IDES.
