Bartlett 10, East Aurora 0: Senior pitcher Kyle King (1-2) returned from back spasms to pitch 31/3 scoreless innings, allowing 1 hit with 9 strikeouts in an Upstate Eight Conference home win. Greg Partyka went 3-for-3 with 3 RBI and David Palma homered and drove in a pair for the Hawks (17-10, 12-7).
Streamwood 4, Elgin 3: Dylan Noncek and Shawn Jordan doubled, and Josh Harris drove in 2 runs in an Upstate Eight Conference win for the visiting Sabres (14-10-2, 12-6). Senior Zach Klein pitched 6 innings, allowing 4 hits and 4 walks with 7 strikeouts, and Tim Martin struck out 2 to earn the save.
Tom Roth went 2-for-4 with a double and drove in a run, and Tyler Loiseau (0-2) went the distance in a losing cause for Elgin (1-22, 1-17).
Burlington Central 11, Marengo 5: Sam Klein (2-2) allowed 8 hits and walked three, but his 7 strikeouts helped minimize the damage in this Big Northern-East road victory. Klein also went 3-for-3 at the plate with a home run, 2 doubles and 3 RBI, Nick Hahn homered and Tanner Scott went 2-for-4 for the first-place Rockets (15-6, 7-0).
St. Edward 7, Immaculate Conception 5: With the score tied 5-5 through three innings, Green Wave reliever Jon Godfrey took the mound and tossed 4 shutout innings with 5 strikeouts to earn the victory in a Suburban Catholic Conference game in Elmhurst. Godfrey also went 1-for-3 with 2 RBI, and T.J. Madzy finished 2-for-4 with a double and RBI for St. Edward (13-10, 6-4), which scored single runs in the fifth and seventh innings.
Westminster Christian 13, Walther Lutheran 9: In the continuation of a suspended Private School League game that was tied 10-10 in April, Ryan Perez doubled with two outs in the eighth inning and Kevin Elder drove him home with the game-winning hit for the Warriors (23-7, 11-3). Steve Berglund (4-0) struck out two in 1 inning pitched to earn the decision.
Huntley 2, Johnsburg 0: Senior Craig Lipp (6-1) threw a complete-game 6-hitter, highlighted by his 12 strikeouts, to lift the Red Raiders to the Fox Valley Conference (Fox Division) road win. Tom Crohan went 2-for-3 with a double and a RBI and Jordan Contreras drove in the other run for Huntley (21-4-1, 7-1).
Crystal Lake South 4, Woodstock 3: Alex MacAuley's 2-run single in the bottom of the sixth capped a 4-run inning that helped the Gators overcome a 3-0 deficit in this Fox Valley Conference (Valley) contest. Tyler Pliner (2-2) pitched a complete-game 4-hitter for the Gators (17-9, 5-3), striking out 4 against just 1 walk.
Cary-Grove 4, McHenry 1: Kegan Mascarella hit a 2-run home run and Eric Chandler doubled in support of senior pitcher Matt Nelsen, who improved to 8-0 for the second straight season for Cary-Grove (20-6-1, 7-1). Nelsen struck out seven and walked just one Warrior.
