Naperville's Knox Presbyterian hosts benefit night for Ukraine June 10

On Friday, June 10, Knox Presbyterian Church in Naperville is hosting a "Benefit Night for Ukraine" featuring a concert with music from Handel to Broadway with local musicians and singers, as well as a silent auction of artwork, photography, and other items.

Admission is free but donations are accepted for Presbyterian Disaster Assistance. All auction proceeds will go to Presbyterian Disaster Assistance.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees estimates more than 6.5 million Ukrainians have fled the country since the Russian invasion began Feb. 24.

Another 8 million have been displaced inside Ukraine.

Presbyterian Disaster Assistance funds critical humanitarian aid, including food, shelter, medicines, diapers, hygiene items, and much more. The PDA has a long history in this region and many established and trusted partners with whom they work. These partners are local in Ukraine and in Eastern and Central Europe. They have the knowledge and expertise to help those fleeing the war with long-term emergency aid.

Enjoy an evening of music and the opportunity to get some one-of-a-kind items, while helping to fund relief efforts for the tremendous need of our brothers and sisters in Ukraine.

"Just as the body is dead without breath, so also faith is dead without good works," James 2:26 NLT.

The "Benefit Night for Ukraine" will be from 6:45 to 8:15 p.m. at Knox Presbyterian Church, 1105 Catalpa Lane in Naperville.
