College of DuPage announces inaugural 9/11 Memorial Scholarship recipients

The Marketing and Communications Office at College of DuPage, in partnership with COD's Homeland Security Training Institute, recently announced the winners of the inaugural 9/11 Memorial Scholarship.

COD President Dr. Brian Caputo and Tom Brady, Associate Dean Public Service and Homeland Security Training Institute, presented Hunter Bogwill, a cybersecurity student from Glendale Heights, and Angelica Grimaldo, a nursing student from West Chicago, with $2,500 awards for the fall 2022 semester.

Established as part of the college's commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, the 9/11 Memorial Scholarship provides financial support to students pursuing careers in first responder fields.
