Roselle Garden Club to host Summer Garden Walk July 10
Six gardens will be featured at the Summer Garden Walk, hosted by Roselle Park District Garden Club, on Saturday, July 10.
The walk from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. features a tour of the gardens located throughout the village of Roselle. Proceeds from the event will benefit local charities.
Discover beautiful backyards with features including stunning plant life, a wooded wonderland, a quaint bridge that connects two stunning backyards, plus unusual water features, all while strolling through the quaint village.
Visit the gardens at your own pace while gathering inspiration as you walk among the yards and gardens of your fellow Roselle residents. Local Master Gardeners will be available to answer your questions.
Advance tickets for the garden walk are available at Platt Hill Nursery, 222 W. Lake St. in Bloomingdale, and at the front desk of the Roselle Park District Clauss Recreation Center, 555 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., Roselle, or via the park district's website, www.rparks.org/event/garden-walk, under "Tickets."
Tickets are $15 per person, with free admission for children under 12. Cash, check, or credit cards are accepted the Roselle Park District.
Tickets may be purchased the day of the event for $20 per person by cash or credit.
Garden walk maps/tickets are available at the Roselle History Museum, 39 E. Elm St. in Roselle, on the morning of the event.
All proceeds support the IMPACT Garden, youth education and civic beautification.
