Join Roving Naturalists with MCCD in November
Stop by for a visit with one of the McHenry County Conservation District's "Roving Naturalists" at a new conservation area each week in November.
Ask questions about the fall landscape, animals that are out and about, and get recommendations for a hike.
It is designed for adults and families; kids younger than 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
No registration is required for these free, drop-in programs, but "Check Before You Go" as cancellations may occur due to weather or staff emergencies.

From 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays, it will be Marengo Ridge Conservation Area Shelter No. 1, 2411 N. Route 23 in Marengo, on Nov. 7; Boger Bog Conservation Area, 2100 Cherry Valley Road in Bull Valley on Nov. 14; Harrison Benwell Conservation Area, 7055 McCullom Lake Road, Wonder Lake, on Nov. 21; and The Hollows Conservation Area, 3804 Route 14 in Cary, on Nov. 28.
