Bartlett Area Chamber Offers Opportunity to Experience Spain and the Costa del Sol in March 2020

The Bartlett Area Chamber of Commerce is offering a unique opportunity for community members to experience a taste of the culture of Spain and the Costa del Sol. Through a partnership with CI Destinations, the Chamber will offer a fully escorted, seven-night, cost-effective tour of the region, departing March 17, 2020. The Chamber will host an informational meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at the Bartlett Park District, Community Room 1, 700 S. Bartlett Road to answer any questions regarding the trip. Call the Chamber office at 630.830.0324 if interested in attending or register online at www.bartlettareachamber.com.

All are welcome to take advantage of this wonderful travel opportunity which features visits to Malaga, Granada, Gibraltar, Seville, Mijas, Cordoba, and Ronda. The Costa del Sol is known for its beautiful landscapes and delicious food, and travelers will explore the rich cultural heritage, fabulous beaches and charming villages with visits to the Alhambra Palace, the Seville Cathedral, La Giralda, and the Rock of Gibraltar. The trip is offered at $2,999 per person and includes round trip airfare, airline fuel surcharges, taxes and fees, seven-nights' accommodation at a first-class hotel, 13 meals, sightseeing and admissions per itinerary, professional tour manager, baggage handling, and hotel transfers. Single travelers are welcome to join the group but will pay an additional fee to reserve a private room. There is also an optional two-night post tour extension of Madrid available at an additional cost.

"This is truly an amazing opportunity to discover all that Spain has to offer. The Costa del Sol stretches over 90 miles and is one of Spain's most popular tourist destinations," said Nan Gudenkauf, president and CEO of the Chamber. Gudenkauf also shared that this trip will be the third of its kind offered through the Chamber office. This past March, 41 people were able to experience culture and history through a Chamber-sponsored trip to Tuscany; and in 2018, 44 traveled to China. Both trips proved very successful, and the Chamber will continue to work with CI Destinations to manage the 2020 travel opportunity to Spain.

Space is limited, and all are encouraged to attend the Oct. 29 informational meeting at the Bartlett Park District. Visit www.bartlettareachamber.com, email nan@bartlettareachamber.com, or call the Chamber office for details at (630) 830-0324.
