Sessions Jazz Quartet to perform concert at MCC March 10
The Second Sunday Concert Series at McHenry County College continues with the Sessions Jazz Quartet at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 10, in the Luecht Conference Center at the college, 8900 Route 14, Crystal Lake.
Pianist Al Skaronea returns with quartet members Bill Toalson on trumpet, Charlie Rigg on bass and Brad Skaronea on drums.
Guest musicians include Terry Bugno, M.D. on trumpet and Hugo Alcazar on saxophone.
Some of the music will include: "Isn't She Lovely," by Stevie Wonder, Manteca by Dizzy Gillespie, "Days of Wine and Roses" by Henry Mancini and "Watch What Happens" by Michael Legrand.
The concert is free and open to the public.

On April 27, the Cor Corps Horn Ensemble will perform. Band directors, music teachers, horn instructors will all performing on the horn. Come out and hear the creative musical arrangements!
On May 5, students of the MCC Music Program close out the academic year by showcasing their solos and small ensembles.
The Second Sunday Concert Series features a variety of classical, jazz and folk musicians from the greater Chicago area, along with semiannual concerts featuring the MCC chorus, concert band, jazz ensemble and chamber groups.
