Annual 'String Ties, Boots & Blue Jeans' to benefit local 4-H foundation

The McHenry County 4-H Youth Foundation invites the community to the annual "String Ties, Boots & Blue Jeans" event from 5:30 to 11 p.m. Saturday, March 9.

This year's event will be held at the Beyond Stable Farm at 11129 Route 176 in Woodstock.

Join them for a buffet dinner catered by Joe's Place, live entertainment provided by Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos, and a cash bar. It will be a fun-filled evening complete with silent and live auctions, raffles and more.

The McHenry County 4-H Youth Foundation's mission is to bolster the county 4-H program by helping to ensure growth and success for 4-H youth.

This event raises funds to assist in supporting 4-H within University of Illinois Extension-McHenry County, providing 4-H scholarships and awards and much more such as cultivating the 4-H Youth Leadership Teams.

All ages are welcome to attend.

Visit mchenrycountystringtie.myevent.com for more information or to purchase tickets by Friday, March 1.

You also may support the "String Tie" event by donating an auction item or with a monetary contribution (all donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible.)
