DPAG Display Announcements - 4 announcements

Announcement 1: Mary Olson, a resident of Des Plaines and member and Membership Chairman of the Des Plaines Art Guild is displaying her art at the Des Plaines Council Chamber Gallery during the month of November 2018. The Gallery is located at 1420 Miner Street, Des Plaines and is open during normal business hours. The public is invigted to view the display.

Announcement 2: Penny Weinberg, a resident of Deerfield, IL, and member of the Des Plaines Art Guild is displaying her art at the Des Plaines Public Library, 3rd floor Gallery, during the month of November, 2018. The Library is located at 1501 Ellinwood, Des Plaines and is open during normal business hours. The public is invited to view the display.

Announcement 3: A Chicago area resident since the 1990s and current Recording Secretary of the Des Plaines Art Guild, Teresa Q. Mussman creates art based on iconic scenes of mature and structures as well as people in everyday life. Much of this is influenced by childhood memories of her many familial moves throughout the US, as well as time spent living & traveling abroad. She isan artist of detail that leans toward creating complex subjects across the color palette.

Landscape scenes are her primary focus at this time & have been capturec with a wide range of mediums including arylics, pastels, watercolor, charcoal and pencil. While she has also etched metals to create unique works of art that display her desire to experiment she excels at putting the viewer at the scene, sensing the cool sillence of ice or the warmth of the sun.

Announcement 4: The Des Plaines Art Guild presents its ALL MEMBER SHOW at the Des Plaines History Center, 789 Pearson Street, Des Plaines. The DPAG Holiday Show/Sale, known as ART GUILD 18, will be will be open to the public during November and December 2018 during normal business hours. The public is invited to attend "COFFEE TALK" on Thursday November 8 at 1:30pm. Also, an art RECEPTION will be held at the History Center on Thursday, November 8 from 6:00 to 8:00pm -- refreshments will be served.
