'Bach & Roll!' to explore classic rock and classical music

The Elgin Symphony League will host "Bach & Roll!" at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, at Imago, 216 Prairie St., Elgin.

Music historian Jim Kendros will talk about the similarities between classic rock hits and classical music.

It will feature a live performance by Matthew Agnew, principal cellist of Elgin Symphony Orchestra and guest Gabriel Datcu on electric guitar.

It will include a wine bar and appetizers. There is limited seating.

Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door (cash only).
