Stateline SHRM to celebrate 20 years with 'Leadership Rising'

On Thursday, Oct. 12, the Stateline chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management will host a half-day program and 20th anniversary celebration titled "Leadership Rising," presented by Andy Kaufman, president of the Institute for Leadership Excellence and Development.

In this session, Kaufman, a recognized expert on leadership, project management, author and executive coach, will relate lessons learned from interviewing many of today's top experts on leadership. He will share why your ability to thrive starts with taking care of yourself and share an innovative, evidence-based perspective on stress that can help during times of pressure. He will explain one of the most important and overlooked strategies to help you and your teams when the pressure is on.

This program has been approved for 2.50 Specified Credit Hours: HR (General) recertification credit hours toward aPHR, PHR, PHRca, SPHR, GPHR, PHRi, SPHRi recertification through HR Certification Institute's (HRCI) and SHRM-CP, SCP certification. Applicable information will be included in on-site materials.

The half-day meeting will be held from 7:30 a.m. to noon at the Bull Valley Golf Club, 1311 Club Road, Woodstock.

Cost for Stateline members is $30 or $45 for nonmembers. Preregistration and payment are required for this event.
