Join Home of the Sparrow for its "Birdies, Brats and Beer" 12th annual golf outing.

The popular Oktoberfest-themed golf outing on Monday, Sept. 11, at Bull Valley Golf Club in Woodstock is expected to sell out again this year.

Registration begins at 10:30 a.m., with the shotgun start at 11:30 a.m., and dinner, raffles, auction, and cocktails at 5 p.m.

Tickets are $175 each or $660 for a foursome. It includes greens fees and cart, driving range, grilling out style lunch, select beer tastings on course, dinner and silent auction items. Register online at www.bidpal.net/hosgolf.

Home of the Sparrow is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization which provides Transitional Shelter, Affordable Housing and Supportive Services to hundreds of homeless women and children within McHenry County and Northern Illinois each year. It provided services to more than 800 women and children in 2016.
