Annual Youth in Harmony contest returns March 12

A Youth in Harmony Vocal regional contest will be held Saturday, March 12, at the District 158 Performing Arts Center at Huntley High School, 13719 Harmony Road.

The contest, which starts at 2 p.m., is open to high school quartets and ensembles, both girls and boys.

All singing will be a cappella, close harmony, barbershop style.

The contest is hosted by the Huntley High School vocal music department and sponsored by the Fox Valley Men of Harmony and the Barbershop Harmony Society.

Currently, groups from Grant, Crystal Lake South and Huntley high schools are registered to compete.

The auditorium entrance is at the southeast corner of the building. Admission is free to the public.
