NAMI McHenry offers 'Celebrating the Holidays'

NAMI McHenry County will offer "Celebrating the Holidays" on Thursday, Dec. 17, at Community Resource Center, 620 Dakota St. in Crystal Lake. It will begin with a presentation at 7 p.m. and the support group meeting at 8 p.m.

Holidays can be difficult for a person dealing with a mental illness. They can be difficult for family and friends, too. They also will share some ideas to make it a little easier for all to get through this holiday season and discover some new ways to celebrate the season. Then end the evening with some fun!

If you know someone who might benefit from this presentation, feel free to invite them to join you. All presentations and support groups are open and free to the community. No registration is required.

Support will be offered after the presentation. If you have an urgent need to meet with someone for support, notify someone know at the sign-in desk and one of the support facilitators will be happy to meet with you immediately.
