Holiday items needed for Arts Center Boutique

Arts in Bartlett is now accepting handmade gift items for holiday consignment sales in the "Arts Center Boutique" gallery at 215 S. Main St. Good sellers are ornaments, décor, jewelry and other small items. No resale items or kits please. Call (630) 372-4152 or email art@artsinbartlett.org for a Holiday Agreement and details. They also need donations for kid's Bargain Boutique for kids to shop for family and friends with all handmade items $1 to $5. If you are making gifts or ornaments for the holidays, please bring in an extra one.

The next exhibit in the Arts in Bartlett Gallery is "A Feast for the Eyes" which will run through the end of January. They are accepting all mediums which display or depict food, i.e.: the making of food, still life, family gatherings and celebrations, utensils, any way we love to celebrate foods. Being a holiday season where food is quite often the center of the occasion, they would love to see what you have created around this theme.

Deadline is Thursday, Oct. 29. Artwork will be hung on Oct. 30. If you would like to submit artwork, contact Cecilia Green for information and paperwork, email art@artsinbartlett.org or (630) 372-4152.

They need a couple volunteers to help on Oct. 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to hang this exhibit. If you are available, contact Linda at linda@lindakaysart.com or (847) 323-3615.

In 2015, Arts in Bartlett is in its 13th year of carrying out its mission of providing more access to the arts. It is now involved in the visual, performing and literary arts.

They continue to work toward the vision of Bartlett and the surrounding community as one that values and supports the arts. Much progress has been made, and the momentum is building for the cultural arts to have an even larger impact on Bartlett's economy and quality of life. Their goal is to encourage all residents to make the arts an integral part of their lives.
