St. Peter School Schaumburg to Host Its First Annual 5k Run/Walk October 18

St. Peter Lutheran School in Schaumburg today announced it will host its first annual 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, October 18 at 9 a.m.

The event will recognize Roger Kirsch for his 42 years of service as a teacher and principal at St. Peter. Participants will have the opportunity to honor individuals meaningful in their lives.

"We honor our cherished principal Roger Kirsch and his amazing years of service," said Kim Strom, St. Peter Parent Teacher League (PTL) president and event co-chair. "Mr. Kirsch exemplifies the heart and soul of the St. Peter community and we are so thankful for his support and dedication to our children."

The event, which includes a ½ mile Fun Run for kids 12 and under and a health fair, will benefit the school's athletic program and PTL.

To register for the event, visit www.signmeup.com/103018. The 5k run/walk is $25 and $30 after October 5. The Kids' Fun Run is $10 and $15 after October 5.
