Jan. 23: CLC sponsors Get Connected Vendor Fair
Over the next five years, the College of Lake County will spend $148 million in campus improvements involving major purchases of goods and services beyond its normal business needs. To help local vendors become aware of the upcoming opportunities, CLC will sponsor another Get Connected Vendor Fair from 9-11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23 in Room C005 (C Wing auditorium) at the Grayslake campus, 19351 W. Washington St. The college sponsored a previous vendor fair in December.
At the event, vendors can network with the college's architects, construction managers, facilities team and procurement staff and hear presentations on the college's projects planned for 2013-2017. These projects include constructing a new science building, remodeling the A and B Wings, constructing a new cafeteria and bookstore, and other many other projects. For information about the master plan projects, visit www.clcillinois.edu/masterplan, a site that is updated weekly.
To attend the Get Connected Vendor Fair, please RSVP to purchasing@clcillinois.edu. For questions, call (847) 543-2084. More information on the college's procurement policy is at www.clcillinois.edu/depts/bus.asp. Vendors who attend the fair and use Twitter are invited to Tweet about the event at #CLCVendorFair.
