Cary-Grove 55, Woodstock North 45: Jason Gregoire scored 18 points to lead the Trojans to a season-opening win in the Hoops For Healing Tournament in Woodstock. Devin McDonough added 8 points for Cary-Grove, which led 38-33 after three quarters before pulling away.

Westminster Christian 53, Alden-Hebron 33: Dillon Rejman had 20 points, including 6 3-pointers, to lead the Warriors to a win on opening night in their own tournament. Robert Kleczynski added 10 points for Westminster.

Downers Grove North 49, Streamwood 35: Jacob McGlone scored 13 points and Jacob Siewert added 11 but the Sabres were denied new coach Paul Kowalszyn’s first win at the Wheaton Academy tournament. Cole Seger added 9 points for Streamwood.
