The Humanitarian Service Project's School Supply Drive asks individuals, businesses, and groups around the DuPage and Kane County area to donate notebooks, folders, pencils, pens, crayons, etc. for children that can't afford back to school necessities. The Rotary Club of Bloomingdale- Roselle's donation, along with donations from other individuals, businesses, and groups, was given to the DuPage Regional Office of Education's annual Back to School Fair by HSP. HSP had 2 cargo vans full of school supplies for needy children that were donated to the fair. The fair was held at the Odeum Expo Center in Villa Park on August 7, 2013. HSP will continue to collect school supplies throughout the summer, which will be donated directly to schools with high percentages of needy children. If you would like more information on the projects or would like to make a donation, you can email hsp@humanitarianservice.org or call (630) 221-8340.
