Northbrook Community Synagogue To Hold Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur Services

Northbrook Community Synagogue will hold High Holiday services at 2548 Jasper Court (corner of Willow and Landwehr Rds.) in Northbrook. Rosh Hashanah services will begin the evening of Sept. 4, 2013 and continue through Sept. 5 and 6. Yom Kippur services will be held in the evening on Sept. 13 for Kol Nidre and throughout the day Saturday, Sept. 14. High Holiday services will be led by NCS Rabbi Aaron Braun and chanted by Cantor-Rabbi Moshe Shur, “The Rockin' Renaissance Rabbi.” Tickets are required for all High Holiday services. Tickets are included with membership or are $125 for non-members. To join or purchase tickets, call the synagogue office at 847-509-9204 or stop in at the synagogue. On Rosh Hashana, evening services will be held at 6:30 p.m. on September 4 and 5. Morning services begin at 8:15 a.m. on September 5 and 6. Yom Kippur, Mincha services begin at 6:15 p.m. September 13 and Kol Nidre will follow at 6:30 p.m. Morning services on September 14 begin at 9 a.m. The Yizkor service will begin at 11:45 a.m., and Mincha-Ne'ilah begins at 5:45 p.m.
