Naperville North takes fifth at tourney

Zoe Swift poured in 22 points and Kayla Sharples added 13 as Naperville North (7-7) beat Providence 53-41 in Friday’s fifth-place game of the Naperville North/Benet Holiday Tournament.

Waubonsie Valley 45, Lake Park 28:

In a matchup of winless teams, the visiting Warriors (1-11, 1-5 Upstate Eight Valley) beat the Lancers in Roselle for their first win of the season.

Hinsdale Central 54, Lyons Twp. 38:

Gabrielle Rush tossed in 23 points for the No. 17 Red Devils (9-2, 6-0 West Suburban Silver) in LaGrange.

Wheaton Academy 55, Chicago Christian 39:

Abby Olson scored 10 points and Marissa Gagliano and Christina Garrison 9 apiece for the Warriors (2-9, 1-4 Suburban Christian Conference Gold).

Timothy Christian 40, Westmont 27:

Kelli LeGrand scored 9 points for the Trojans (7-6).
