Find your favorite treat at ‘ACTS of Sweetness’ event

Instead of acts of indulgence, how about “ACTS of Sweetness?”

If you’re looking to indulge your sweet tooth this spring, Adult & Child Therapy Services has the perfect remedy. Join the first “ACTS of Sweetness” event from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, May 3, at 31 North Banquet and Conference Center, 217 N. Front St. in McHenry.

Twenty different dessert vendors will be providing sweets in all forms. From chocolate and toffees to cupcakes and cookies, your favorite sweet is bound to be there.

A cash bar will be available throughout the evening, as well as a small wine tasting.

Tickets are $20 and are available for purchase at Adult & Child Therapy Services, 708 Washington St. in Woodstock, or at Anderson’s Candy Shop, SweetPea Cakes, Morkes Chocolates and Kiera’s Confections.
