Harper College, Northwest Suburban Astronomers celebrate National Astronomy Day

The Northwest Suburban Astronomers and Harper College’s Department of Physical Sciences will celebrate National Astronomy Day from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at the college, 1200 W. Algonquin Road, Palatine. Rain or shine, the free event will feature a variety of telescopes on display, astronomy lectures, hands-on activities and projects for children in Building Z. Telescopes will be available at the observatory to view a variety of celestial objects, weather permitting. For more information, visit www.nsaclub.org.
