Don Stiernberg performs Saturday at Harper College

Chicago musician Don Stiernberg will bring his trio to Harper College for a concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, in Room A238, Building A on Harper’s main campus, 1200 W. Algonquin Road in Palatine. The “Into the '70s” concert is filled with tunes from some of the era’s greatest music makers. The performance is the latest in the college’s “As Time Goes By” series, aimed at taking audiences on a musical tour of America’s past. The trio’s playlist will feature an acoustic return to tunes from the likes of James Taylor, Stevie Wonder, Van Morrison, Steely Dan, The Doobie Brothers and George Benson. Tickets are $19.
