West Towns Chorus puts on Christmas show at the Tivoli

The Christmas holiday season draws near, heralding the return of Chicagoland's premier men's four-part harmony chorus to the historic Tivoli Theatre in Downers Grove.

The West Towns Chorus, Illinois District Barbershop Champions, will present four performances of “Home for the Holidays.”

The beautiful Tivoli Theatre is located at 5021 Highland Avenue in downtown Downers Grove. Showtimes are: 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9; 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10; and 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11.

Tickets are $20 per person for the Friday show, or $15 for students and seniors, and $23 for the Saturday and Sunday shows. Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more. All seating is reserved. To purchase tickets, please call (630) 201-5544 or visit www.westtowns.org.

“Home for the Holidays” features the West Towns Chorus, joined by special guests the Sweet Adelines Midwest Crossroads Chorus (Region 3 Champions), along with the Chancel Ringers of First United Methodist Church of Downers Grove, Affinity String and Brass Ensemble, Flautist Christine Buik, David Rhodes on the Tivoli's Wurlitzer Pipe Organ, and a special appearance by Santa!
