Lake Co. YMCA fall registration begins Oct. 10

Registration for Lake County Family YMCA's many fall programs becomes available to the community Oct. 10.

That's when all area residents can begin signing up for the wide variety of activities fostering healthy living, youth development and social responsibility offered at the Ys in Waukegan and Vernon Hills.

These offerings include family swim lessons, an on-stage drama class, adult or kids' boot camp, martial arts, a little chef's class, and a parent's night out. Registration should be completed by Oct. 16 to avoid higher fees for some classes.

All Lake County Family YMCA programs are designed to express, demonstrate and encourage the four core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

Further information is available by visiting the Ys at 2000 Western Ave. in Waukegan or 700 Lakeview Parkway in Vernon Hills. In addition, a program guide may be viewed at ymcalakecounty.org.
