NJCAA names COD quarterback as Player of the Week

The National Junior College Athletic Association recently named College of DuPage quarterback Bobby Vega Player of the Week.

Vega, a sophomore, came to COD from Felix Varela Sr. High School in Florida. The Chaparrals are 3-1 after suffering a tough loss Sept. 17 to No. 6 Iowa Western Community College.

The team travels to North Dakota Science Sept. 24, before returning home to host Ellsworth (Iowa) on Oct. 1.
