College of DuPage will receive $4,000 on behalf of the McAninch Arts Center to support the production of “Yamato: The Wadaiko Drummers of Japan” on Friday, Oct. 21, at the MAC Mainstage, 425 Fawell Blvd. in Glen Ellyn. This program is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency.

Funding will arrive from Arts Midwest, in partnership with the Illinois Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts. Yamato's engagement will include an evening public performance at the MAC Mainstage and a MAC Chat opportunity for patrons to meet the performers.

A separate daytime performance will be held for elementary school children and will include a study lesson guide for educators developed by the MAC.
