Label Printers sponsor Anti-Counterfeiting & Brand Protection Conference

Aurora, IL, September 9, 2011 – The Label Printers has agreed to share their experience and expertise with those interested in protecting their brand and intellectual property as a sponsor and workshop presenter for the 7th Anti-Counterfeiting & Brand Protection – East Coast.

The New York conference is titled “Developing Effective Strategies to Combat Online Counterfeiting and Protecting Brands through Collaboration with Government Agencies”. Conference presenters include brand owners such as Google, Bayer, the NFL, Louis Vuitton, and Hewlett Packard; solution providers such as The Label Printers and Melbourne IT Digital Brand Services; government agencies such as the FBI, and ICE [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] Homeland Security Investigations; and many other intellectual property and anti-counterfeiting experts. The Conference and Workshops will be presented and attended by individuals representing the law enforcement community, IP and brand owners, anti-counterfeiting solution suppliers, and others interested in combating the global menace of counterfeiting and piracy.

Michael Agee, Director of Brand Protection Programs for The Label Printers, will present a Workshop entitled “Integrating Product and Supply Chain Security Components into a Brand Owner's Strategy”. This workshop will address issues including how to work to secure the entire supply chain, and implementing brand protection solutions for true corporation sustainability.

The Anti-Counterfeiting & Brand Protection Conference includes three days [September 26 through 28] of workshops and presentations. Critical IP and anti-counterfeiting strategies and their implementation will be discussed, including:

• Strategically securing and enforcing IP rights locally and abroad

• Future proofing your brand integrity by countering trademark patent infringements

• Enforcing supply chain security in the U.S. by uniting with border officials to stop the illegal flow of harmful products
