Volunteers needed for annual golf/tennis outing
The College of DuPage Foundation is seeking volunteers for its 29th annual Golf and Tennis Outing, Monday, Sept. 19, at Stonebridge Country Club in Aurora.
The event, which last year raised more than $100,000, benefits COD student scholarships.
The outing begins at 10:30 a.m. and volunteers are needed to work four- and five-hour shifts throughout the day.
The day's schedule includes a buffet lunch beginning at 11 a.m., followed by golf at 12:15 p.m. A tennis clinic and doubles play begins at 3 p.m., followed by cocktails, dinner, an auction and raffle at 5:30 p.m.
