18 McHenry Co. high school seniors honored

Kishwaukee Trail Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution honored all 18 of their 2010-11 scholarship winners at 17 individual high school awards events in May.

Those scholarship recipients are:

Scholarship funding is provided through DAR fund raising & private donations.

The DAR, founded in 1890 and headquartered in Washington, D.C., is a volunteer women's service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's future through better education for children.
