Girls soccer

Burlington Central 8, North Boone 0: Maddie Stoneman and Heather Krup each recorded 2 goals and 1 assist to lead the Rockets (9-5-1, 7-0-1) to an easy victory in the Big Northern East. Cali Andrew (assist), Lexi Kern, Catherine Kaynish, and Bailey Panjkovich rounded out the scoring with a goal apiece. Caitlin Solberg preserved her 6th shutout of the season in goal.

Crystal Lake South 3, Prairie Ridge 1: The Gators (14-7-2, 9-2) carried a 1-0 lead into halftime and never looked back as they defeated the Wolves in Fox Valley Conference action. Christina Szocka recorded 2 goals and assisted on the other to lead the Gators while Kali Loescher added 1 goal and 1 assist. Elizabeth Quinn turned away 3 shots on goal.

Huntley 3, Dundee-Crown 0: Aimee Wronski recorded a hat trick as she led the Red Raiders (14-1-1, 9-0) to a Fox Valley Conference victory. Sam Zobott recorded an assist while Kaytlyn Owens preserved the shutout in goal.

Cary-Grove 6, Woodstock 0: Korey Kronforst (assist) and Alli Budreck each recorded 2 goals while Jamie Simon also recorded a goal to earn the Trojans (11-7-1, 8-3) a Fox Valley Conference victory. Krystal Felderman was in goal for the Trojans to record the shutout.

Marengo 2, Hampshire 1: Karla Vietinghoff found the back of the net for the Whip-Purs on a feed from Helena Van Eck, but it was not enough as the Whips dropped this Big Northern East match at home.
