'Saturation' at COD's Wings Gallery to June 20

A collection of works by photography students will be on display through Monday, June 20, in the Wings Student Gallery in the Student Resource Center at College of DuPage, 425 Fawell Blvd. in Glen Ellyn.

An opening reception for this free exhibition is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 6, at the gallery.

“Saturation” is a collection of work by 16 photography students, capturing thoughts and sensations through color. The work examines use of color for symbolic purposes, as a way to organize elements and as an aid in creating spatial imagery.

Participating photographers include JoAnn Barnes, Tim Benson, Melissa Bitter, Christine Carroll, Sheridan Carroll, Patsy Davis, Jeffrey Edwards, Juli Gauthier, Aichen Ho, Denis Hagen, Judy Kinal, Karen Knecht, Laurie Panico, Christina Racibozynski, Natalie Ramey and Robert Szerlong. Faculty advisors for the exhibition are Mary Dew and Terry Vitacco.

The gallery is open noon to 12:45 p.m. and 4 to 7:15 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays; 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays; 2 to 7 p.m. Thursdays; and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fridays.
