Cary-Grove 7, Buffalo Grove 1: Sarah Leudo went 3-for-4 with an RBI and winning pitcher Lindsay Efflandt had 2 hits and an RBI as the Trojans (2-0) rolled to a nonconference win Friday. Lisa Semro added an RBI for Cary-Grove. Efflandt allowed 5 hits and had 13 strikeouts with 3 walks to earn the win.
Lisle 8, St. Edward 3: Sarah Field had a home run and Tarah McShane a double and an RBI for St. Edward (0-3) in this nonconference loss on the road. Field was also the losing pitcher.
