Comedic hypnotist coming to Harper

Harper College will kick off the Spring 2011 semester with an interactive performance by Frederick Winters, a comedic hypnotist, who will offer an overview of his craft and then take volunteers on an onstage hypnotic journey.

Winters' free performance is at noon on Wednesday, Jan. 19, in the Student Center, on the main floor of Building A. It is open to all.

His act is a highlight of the college's semiannual Welcome Week festivities, which welcome new and returning students to Harper's campus. The week also will allow students a chance to get information on Harper and Harper services and take part in the PACE Transit Day, an event intended to educate students about PACE routes serving campus and the new Schaumburg Dial-A-Ride Transportation Service commuting option (noon on Thursday, Jan. 20 in the Student Center). For more information on the events, call Student Activities, (847) 925-6242.
