Hampshire 58, Gary Comer Prep 32: The Whip-Purs (1-2) used a balanced attack, as 11 different players scored, to pick up their first victory of the season in the final day of play at the 48th Leland G. Strombom Holiday Tournament. Shane Hernandez led all scorers with 14 points while Tyler Watzlawick and Tyler Crater added 9 and 8 points, respectively.

Hononegah 48, Cary-Grove 38: Despite a 22-point effort from Jon Guay which included six 3-pointers, the Trojans (2-1) were unable to pull out a victory as they were defeated by Hononegah at the Hoops for Healing Tournament in Woodstock. Ryan Anderson also posted a double-digit performance with 11 points.

Mooseheart 66, Elgin Academy 39: The Hilltoppers (1-3) could not get the offense going as they were defeated by Mooseheart at the Westminster Christian Thanksgiving Tournament. Connor Flexman was the lone Hilltopper to reach double-digits as he recorded 16 points while Aaron Thomas chipped in 9 points.

Jacobs 68, Normandy (St. Louis) 35: The Golden Eagles (2-1) took a solid 18-9 lead after one quarter of play and never looked back as they cruised to an easy victory over Normandy in the Quincy Thanksgiving Tournament. Nick Hofman (17 points) and Mike Perterson (12 points) paced the Golden Eagles in double-figures as they were just 2 of 12 players to contribute offensively with at least 1 point. Matt Ehrhardt added 9 points while Alex Glover and Collin Richman chipped in 8 points apiece.

Downers Grove North 34, Streamwood 26: The Sabres (1-3) held a 2-point advantage heading into the fourth quarter, but were unable to secure the victory as they were defeated by Downers Grove North in the final day of the Wheaton Academy Thanksgiving Tournament. D.J. Mustari led the Sabres with 8 points while Adam Acevedo and Bobby Post added 7 and 6 points, respectively.
