Huntley 5, Dundee-Crown 0: Aimee Wronski scored her team-leading 17th goal of the season as she led the undefeated Red Raiders (13-0, 3-0) past the Chargers (4-4-2, 1-2) in Fox Valley (Valley Division) play on the road Tuesday. Junior Emily Konior recorded a hat trick as she scored 3 consecutive times. Kelly Creager closed out the scoring as she recorded her first goal of the season. Sara Hoffman and Kaytlyn Owens combined for 2 saves in goal to preserve the shutout. Dundee-Crown goalie Deanna Libricz turned away 10 shots on goal.
Jacobs 5, McHenry 1: The Golden Eagles (3-2) carried a 3-0 lead into halftime and calmly defeated McHenry in Fox Valley (Valley Division) action. Cassidy Sherman paced the Golden Eagles with 2 goals while Molly Leopold, Catie Sherman, and Mo Ramirez recorded the other 3 goals. Alyssa Barnard saved 6 shots on goal.
Kaneland 4, Streamwood 0: For the second straight day at the West Aurora Tournament, the Sabres were unable to find the back of the net as they were defeated by Kaneland. Brianna Roppo recorded 6 saves in goal for the Sabres.
Hampshire 9, North Boone 0: The Whip-Purs (5-5) sprinted out to a 5-0 halftime lead and never looked back as they easily defeated North Boone on the road in the Big Northern East. Freshman Paige Palubicki recorded a hat trick to lead the Whips while Kelsey Anderson found the back of the net twice. Natalie Starrenburg, Alex Field, Cassie Dumoulin and Dichelle Spielman also scored to lead Hampshire to victory.
Burlington Central 2, Richmond-Burton 1: The Rockets (4-1-2, 1-0) held on to earn a victory in their Big Northern East opener. Erica Heissler scored the Rockets' first goal off of a feed from Michelle Fowler while the game-winner was put in the back of the net by Madalene Stoneman off of an assist from Jessica Martinez. Caitlin Solberg recorded 7 saves in goal for the Rockets.
Bartlett 3, Lake Park 1: The Hawks played an even first half of soccer Tuesday as they carried a 1-1 tie into halftime before holding the Lancers scoreless in the second half and adding to more goals themselves to earn an Upstate Eight Conference victory at home. Amanda Zindel started off the scoring for the Hawks as she found the back of the net at the 12:58 mark. Sam Banzne and Sam Barone then put the Hawks up for good as they finished out the scoring.
Crystal Lake South 3, Cary-Grove 1: The Gators (7-3, 2-0) took advantage of some Cary-Grove (4-6, 1-2) errors as they scored 2 out of their 3 goals via a free-kick and a penalty kick to keep them undefeated in Fox Valley (Valley Division) action. Katie Burton, Ashley Ross, and Kali Loescher each recorded goals for the Gators while the Trojans' lone goal came off the foot of Nicole Bussenger in the second half. Elizabeth Quinn stopped 4 shots on goal for the Gators and Paige Wooldridge recorded 3 saves in goal for the Trojans.
Elgin Academy 2, Latin School of Chicago 1: The Hilltoppers (6-1, 1-0) were able to outlast the Latin School of Chicago in the Independent School League. Lauren Steimle led the way with 1 goal and 1 assist and Ashley Barnes registered a goal as well. Siena Romano added 1 assist. Bianca Swegler turned away 6 shots on goal to help secure a victory.
