Richmond-Burton 44, Hampshire 42: The Whip-Purs (7-5) found themselves down 26-21 heading into halftime and their comeback effort came up just short as they fell to Richmond-Burton in Big Northern East action.

Justin Bieber paced the Whip-Purs and led all scorers with a double-digit, 18-point performance. Sophomore Brock Ralphs also recorded double-figures, turning in 12 points.

Crystal Lake South 51, Harlem 50: After falling behind in the first quarter, the Gators (7-6) carried a 5-point lead into halftime and held off Harlem to secure a 1-point victory in this nonconference matchup on the road. Ethan Breitenstein and Alex Macaulay shared team-high honors for the Gators with 11 points apiece.

University 78, Elgin Academy 27: The Hilltoppers (3-8) could not get the offense going as they did not have a player reach double-digits. Patrick Martinak and Paul Leonardis each recorded 8 points to lead the Hilltoppers.

Aurora Central Catholic 73, St. Edward 42: The Green Wave (7-10, 1-3) could not stop ACC's offensive attack as they fell on the road in Suburban Christian Conference (Gold Division) action. Alex Boduch was the lone Green Wave player to reach double-digits with 11 points while DJ Barnes recorded 9 points on the night.

Cary-Grove 69, Woodstock 54: The Trojans (6-9) jumped out to an early lead and never looked back as they easily defeated Woodstock on the road in this nonconference game. Nick Richter and Chad McCarron paced the Trojans offensively with 19 and 17 points, respectively, while Ryan Barker also turned in a double digit performance chipping in 10 points.

Westminster Christian 63, Luther North 53: The Warriors (9-6, 3-1) found themselves down by one at the end of the first half, but then exploded in the third quarter to outscore Luther North 20-9 and earn a victory in Northeastern Athletic Conference action. Luke Carani and Brandon Cork led the Warriors offensively with 15 and 14 points, respectively. Ryan Beachler also added double-digits with 11 points.

East Aurora 86, Streamwood 62: The Sabres (5-9, 1-3) went into the locker room at halftime only down 36-29, but East Aurora exploded for a 36 point third quarter to defeat Streamwood in Upstate Eight Conference action in Aurora. Marcus Greene paced the Sabres offensively turning in double-figures with 18 points while Marcus Lewis added 10 points on the night.
